HTP Resort’s main season is from Memorial Day through Labor Day. During that time, we have a full time Entertainment Director that provides activities for the whole family to enjoy if you like to stay around the resort with friends and family. Some of our popular scheduled events are sand castle-building contests, movies, July 4th parade, golf cart poker run, corn hole tournaments, glow stick parades, dance revolution contests and much more. You can always enjoy live entertainment on Saturday night and attend church service on Sunday morning.
If you prefer exploring the island, the walk to the point is beautiful and the point is breathtaking. Emerald Isle Woods, just down Coast Guard Road, has numerous trails beneath the shade of mature hardwoods. The main road down the island is lined with sidewalks and many visitors enjoy cycling through town for the leisurely, scenic view. Of course, fishing and boat tours are a popular favorite as well. HTP is located near many popular activities, events and festivals on the Crystal Coast of Eastern North Carolina. There’s never a lack of things to do, and our friendly staff is always happy to make recommendations and help with directions.
